SINGAPORE
Singapore is a key trade partner for the European Union in Southeast Asia, standing out as an important hub for European investments. The trade agreement between the EU and Singapore, signed in 2018 and entered into force in November 2019, has significantly strengthened economic relations by eliminating trade barriers and facilitating the exchange of goods and services. Singapore is the second-largest trading partner of the EU within ASEAN, serving as a crucial point for almost one-third of EU-ASEAN trade and two-thirds of investments between the regions. VIETNAM
